F.L.Y.

Did you know that Jesus says (commanded) to LOVE YOURSELF?

For some that is easy, but for others to love themselves is hard. Circumstances in life can make us bitter. We can sometimes feel bitter at others, feel like we don’t fit in, or compare ourselves to others. No matter the circumstance, we are to still love ourselves. In Mathew 22, we are to love our neighbor as yourself. Did you get that? AS YOURSELF.

If you do not love yourself, then it’s not easy to love your neighbor.

A simple step to know if you love yourself is to look in the mirror square in the eye and say, “I love you, (say your name), or write yourself a love letter. State on paper what you love about yourself.

There is ONLY one you and that person is valuable! You have purpose. You’ve been made for a time such as this.

In your quite time with the Father, ask Him what you purpose is.

Matthew 22:37–39

Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor As Yourself.’ (NKJV)
